Cut From a Different Cloth...

To better understand our story, first let's take a look at the definition of Agema: 

A Greek term to describe a military detachment, used for a special purpose, such as guarding high valued targets. Due to its nature the Agema most probably comprises of elite troops.

The nature of the name is why Rob started this company. In order to be in such an elite unit, you have to be the very best at your craft and be able to perform day in and day out, at a consistent level that is much higher than everyone else. With his background in playing baseball at the highest-level, Major-League Baseball, Rob can attest to what it takes to perform at the most elite level. Rob has also spent countless hours talking with members from Tier One military units about what got them to their levels in the military and how to achieve consistent performance. The overwhelming common denominator, which is the same for baseball and frankly a lot of things in life, is mastering the basics to the point it is a subconscious thought. 

Now, this can't be done unless you dedicate yourself to your craft by obtaining information from many different sources and truly understand the content and the why in everything you do. The attention to detail in every little action that goes on, needs to be thought about. Absolutely nothing goes unnoticed and without forethought. Once you know the why and understand the content to the point in which you can teach it back to someone, you must include sacrifice and commitment along with bringing a work ethic that is unwavering. That is a lot to ask of someone, and that is why there are only a select few that can make it to such an elite level of their craft. Talent isn't God-given. It is developed from one's commitment, sacrifice, work ethic, and determination.
